PC Perspective just started a 5-part series of articles looking into cord-cutting and building a HTPC. I'm not sure I'm ready to take that plunge but part one is one of the more thoughtful discussions that I've run across so far and I'll be following it closely.

I cut the cord earlier this year. All I need now is a laptop for a few services that aren't available on Roku or the PS3 and I'm set.
