Interested in converting everything to HTPC cases

so I saw these on Amazon, and Had no idea they molded HTPC's to look like receivers, and I was thinking that I'd swap my PC over to one, but I have a better HTPC case for that. The idea was to put the XBOX 360 into one of these, and the Ps3 into another, with small metal logos for both, kind of like a brand logo.

Thoughts?

Here's the box I want to use:

It's mostly for aesthetics, since there is no real gain, except maybe more fan space and cooling space.

I know that I have seen one company make a case explicitly for the XBOX 360. The issues you get into is accomodating the ports and DVD Drive.

I saw the one for the 360, and personally, think it looks ugly and costs way too much at $200. It's easy to build a new face for a DVD drive so that it sits flush. The one I found on amazon actually looks like a piece of HT equipment, which is why I like it. Then just have a small chrome Logo that says PS3 and XBOX 360 in the top left corner of each box. I think it would look rather good.

I dealt with Athenatech cases before and I was NOT impressed at all,
expect it done on very cheap side, with sharp (finger cutting) edges, thin as paper metal etc....
about Xbox360 case - interesting Idea, I believe few folks done something similar before:

Well, when I took one apart the other day to fix the RROD, there was surprisingly little to it, besides a motherboard, ports, heat sinks and a single fan housing in the back for two fans. that's it. All I'd have to do is get a case, then make a support for the 360's board, to lift it up to proper height to allow the wires from the DVD drive to reach, then destroy a normal DVD drive, pull the tray out of its casing, then put the 360's drive in that casing, then make a flush faceplate for it, and let the drive sit in the housing like a normal PC. The lian Li thing I think looks ugly, and it's way too expensive for my tastes. Yes, it's already setup to accept all the hardware, but it's ugly. As for the other Xbox mods I saw on that page, I know that 50% of them can actually be bought online.

The problem is I want to also do this to the PS3, so I'd need to find 2 really good cases that are the same, that will accept both's hardware. The ps3 is way more complex inside and way better built, so it will take a larger case.
