I want to connect a DBX equalizer to the processor inputs of a preamplifier. The options are:

1. 1/4" TRS plugs to RCA

2. XLR plugs to RCA

Is one better than the other??

Thanks for any help

nope,no difference betwen the 1/4 plugs & the xlr plugs but if it was my choice i'd use xlr to rca just because there are more uses that might come up later on for xlr to rca as oposed to 1/4 to rca.

what dbx eq are you going to run,i have the 20/20 & a 16/20.

Is this for 2 ch analog in? Digital in? If you EQ before a processor, you can mess up the steering on analog.
