Interconnect Recommendation

I will be upgrading my HT to the Cary Cinema 5 and Cinema 6 and need a recommendation on 'reasonably' priced interconnects. I would be looking at $ 50 -$ 100 each at maximum. Currently I have 4 Aural Symphonic - As One (white) cables that are about 15 years old and would expect that I could not find a fifth one used.

I think Impact Acoustics has a great product for the money. Radio Shack gold series cables are fine also.

Unless you're having trouble with your current ones, why replace them? If they're oxidizing on the contacts or something like that, then yeah. But, if you think it's time for something new, check out Blue Jeans. They offer top quality stuff in custom lengths and reasonable prices. If you want more *bling* in your system, check out Cobalt Cable. Honestly the same as Blue Jeans, but with more in the looks department.

I don't want to replace them but I only have 4 and I need 5.

I will check out Blue Jean cables and also AV Cable Source and Cobalt Cable. I don't care what they look like but only am interested in how the perform.

You are aware that cables do not affect an audio signal.

Interconnect Cables and Wiring info
Here is another product category that will garner lots of praise or criticism. We are not going to recommend exotic cables for this system. We are looking for the best Bang for the Buck to meet our budget and performance goal. We want cables that are well-shielded to prevent RF ingress and we want our cables to be flexible and reliable as well as solidly constructed so that they can be connected and reconnected without fear of wearing out or becoming unreliable. We want all this and we don't want to pay a lot for them.

Blue Jeans Cable represents one of the best deals on the market for A/V cables (and they feature some of the best customer service in the industry.) Their products are derived from Belden (one of the largest cable manufacturers in the world) and are time tested and built on proven designs based on valid science and engineering practices. They use Canare terminations which are some of the highest quality and ergonomically friendly on the market
