Integrated Amp for 2.1 hometheatre

I just sold my Rotel RSX 1055 AVR and was thinking of switching to an integrated amp in an attempt to simplify things since I only use two speakers and a sub, and connect my bluray directly to my LCD. Is it possible to set up a 2.1 system with an integrated amp and take advantage of the latest HD audio? I have a Totem Storm sub, a PS3 Slim bluray player, and was thinking of buying the Naim Nait 5i, Rega Mira 3 , Arcam FMJ A28 or Primare i21. Any advice would be appreciated.

Stay away from Primare I21 - I had one and would not recommend. Looks good but it failed me; I was lucky I had extended warranty. It is also noisy at high volume. Add to your list Emotiva and Marantz - both very solid.

Marantz integrated amps (at least their two entry level models) appear to be Sherwood made. The base model is anemic.

Are you sure they're made by Sherwood? Looking again at the Marantz - I'd rather go for Emotiva separates (I thought Marantz was solid  but I take your word for it)
