My fire stick is connected to my receiver and the sound has been working great for years.now I get no sound out of it and I tried all the settings on the remote.Still NO SOUND.Any suggestions would help

Assume that is an hdmi connection for the device? Does another hdmi device work on the same port as the device? Does the same thing happen on all the hdmi ports on the avr? Nothing happened other than the sound ceased to function?
