After looking at the specs, I think the 8.8 is more comparable to the Onkyo 905. It actually goes a tiny bit further with video in all 3 zones, component in zone 2, a couple extra crossover options, an extra switched outlet and a 3 yr warranty instead of 2 w/ the 905.

I think the MSRP for the Integra 8.8 is 2,499 vs 2,099 for the 905.

I can't wait 'til my 905 gets here....
