Integra 50.2/70.2 or Onkyo 3008/5008

I've been in the hunt for a new receiver for a few months now. I have got my choices down to 4 options:
-Integra DTR-50.2
-Integra DTR-70.2
-Onkyo TX-NR3008
-Onkyo TX-NR5008

I've found that the prices of the 50.2 and 3008 are comparable, same with the 70.2 and 5008.

I'm have a tough decision on which receiver to choose. What are your opinions/suggestions?

The Integra brand is related to the Onkyo brand. Integra is positioned as a higher end product with a few features for custom installers that the Onkyo brand does not have. But then there is Onkyo Pro which has some of those features, not sure who runs their marketing department

For example, I just bought a an Onkyo PR-SC5508, which is the equivalent to the Integra DHC-80.2. Then there is also the hybrid Onkyo PR-SC5508P.

My recommendation would be to stick to Onkyo, unless you like the design of the Integra more or it has some odd feature you really want. The equivalent in terms of features to the TX-NR5008 would be the DTR-80.2 (not the 70.2). In my opinion the price difference is not justified. They are just trying to exctract as much value as possible from different segments of the market with almost identical products.

You can find some nice discounts on the TX-NR3008 (e.g. $1299 from J&R). Not sure how much more the TX-NR5008 can offer for ~$700 more.

OF BOTH THE ONKYO AND HD BOX. I'm WONDERING IF AMP IN DAMAGED FROM MY TV; IF THAT HAPPENED I'M TO TAKE PHYSICS IN SUMMER SEMESTER TO RESPECTFULLY GIVE IT THE SEND OFF IT DESERVES. MY TV IS FINISHED ITS A 55" BRAVIA AND IS ALMOST 3 YEARS OLD,
ILL BE GETTING A AVERAGE PLASMA OR CHEAP LG OR ALOW-END PANASONIC 60" NOT GREAT PANASONICS GUYS CHILL.IF THISCANT FIND INSTALL GUY. SOMETHING IS WRONG BECAUSE IF YOU RUN CABLE STRAIGHT INTO THE TV CABLE WORKS, ITS WHEN YOU START PLAYING WITH HDMI AND RUNNING IN THROUGH THE RECEIVER THINGS GO BANANAS. MY
MAIN HDMI IS 1.29$ FOR 2M AND 4 OTHERS ARE 69$ FOR 2M, THEY ARE BRAND NEW BOUGHT YESTERDAY. FINAL LINE IN GUYS MY HD BOX HAS BEEN REPLACED 5 TIMES AND ITS NOT IT. I GOT SIGNAL BOOSTER
AND HD BOX WORKED WITH MY LOWER GRADE AMP. I ALSO HAVE A FEW DIGITAL OPTICAL CABLES,RCA,MEMORY CARDS 5G TO 200 TERA.PLENTY COAXIAL DIGITAL CABLES. LOW-END. ETHERNET CABLE, ALSO EXOTIC COMPUTER CABLE WITH EXTEND MALE END A PREMIUM VIDEO CARD AROUND A YEAR A GO, SO ITS OUT OF DATE BUY NOW.
CAN YOU MAKE BOX WORK, IF HANDY AT COMPUTER FIX A RECURRING BOX POPS UP TO STATE BLA BLA DID NOT OPEN, DOESN'T AFFECT COMPUTERS OPERATION.
IF ALL GOES GOOD A BRIEF 15-20 MIN TUTORIAL ON BASIC FUNCTION AND HOW TO AVOID PROBLEMS FROM ARISING AND\OR ME DAMAGING THE RECEIVER. I WANT TO PUT IN PLACE AND LET STAY FOR NEXT 2.5 YEARS A RIDICULES AMOUNT OF HOBBY SAVINGS.
