No interest?:D

It's up on Best Buy by the way, I just didn't realize it's what was on there when I looked.

I don't mean for this question to seem rude, but what is the point in HDMI pass through? Why not just connect directly to the TV instead? With an HDMI connection in which audio can be extracted, it makes sense to have an HDMI connection on the receiver, or if the receiver has video processing capabilities, but I fail to see any good reason to have HDMI pass through. It requires an additional HDMI cable, and makes the overall length of the cable longer, thus making it more likely that one will have problems with signal loss.

That's easy, for people like me who only have 1 HDMI input on their tv's.

From the looks of it the receiver has HDMI switching with 2 inputs that allows pass through. That's more convenient than going to your TV, unplugging one cable and replacing it with another every time you want to switch from your Digital Cable to your DVD player or Computer or PS3

Okay, that makes some sense. But if one can afford it, it would be far better to get a receiver that can extract the audio from the HDMI connection. Also, if one already has a receiver, it would be cheaper to buy a separate HDMI switch box that had more HDMI inputs than that Insignia receiver, and that automatically (or manually, your choice) switches between inputs:

So I think that it would not be a good choice for most people to buy a receiver that can only switch HDMI, and do nothing with the signal passing through it.
