Hi All,
Just got my Yamaha RX-V465 yesterday, finally, thanks to AudioHolics! They're hooked up to refurbished Polk RM6750's I purchased off eBay for very cheap. It's for the bedroom and I've been pretty happy with it so far after some initial testing. Got the out-of-phase warning with YPAO and double-checked wiring to the speakers and just ignored the warning like others have.
I've already used up all 4 HDMI inputs (STB, Popcorn Hour A-110, Panasonic DMP-BD35 & Roku Netflix box) and 2 Component inputs (Nintendo Wii & Xbox 360), plus a Sangean HDT-1X via S/PDIF optical. Not a single issue with any of the HDMI devices and TrueHD works perfectly over HDMI from the Panasonic DMP-BD35. (Tested Celine Dion: Live in Las Vegas & The Dark Knight Blu-Rays).
Spending less than $450 with shipping costs for the RX-V465 + Polk RM6750's, I'm extremely happy although I've noticed the HTR-6250 (RX-V565) is going for around $303, shipped, and the HTR-6260 (RX-V665) is going for about $359 shipped. Might have to get another set refurbished Polk RM6750's and an HTR-6260 for the home office
Cheers,
Kermee
