I have recently purchased a blu-ray player. The video didn't seem to be 1080p, so I pulled out my manual and started going through the menu. For some reason when I look at the Picture menu, everything is grayed out except for the Keystone and Advanced menus. Also, in the advanced menu, only the TrueLife is available.
According to my manual, I should have a bunch of menus in each one of these areas, but they're not there.
