Infocus SP5000 or Panasonic PT-AE900U

I starting to plan for a new home theater(my 1st). I'll probably watch a little more sports than movies, but want a projector good for both. I've read the reviews on the two projectors mentioned above. I know the Pan is a little more expensive, but if it's a lot better I don't mind. Is it a lot better or will I notice? Thanks for your advice.

Projector reccomendations.

The new Panasonic AE900U and Sanyo Z4 are in another league than the InFocus model you mentioned. For comparable perfromance from a DLP projector check out the BenQ PE7700. Also read the reviews on projector central comparing the BenQ to the new Panasonic.

Visual Apex has a good price on the Panasonic and there is a $200 rebate now dropping it down to $1,900.

I am saving for the new Panny.
