incidentally a local dealer left me a piece of this projector for me FOR A COUPLE OF DAYS & i have it set it up with 2 DVD PLAYER MARANTZ 7600 and PIONEER 969 via HDMI
the overall impression was good,color and black are good but (picture)noise can be an issue ESP with marantz player. the pics look better with the pioneer and i guest if u need this projector to perform, u need a good DVD PLAYER. i have it compare to my marantz 12S4 DARKCHIP3 projector , the marantz look smoother with very effective noise reduction mechanism but the price was triple.
