Infinity vs EMP

That said I'm sitting here on my desktop listening to me EMP E41-Bs with an SMSL T-Amp and all I can say is these things are freaking sweet. Not a hint of strain, and in this small room the bass is full and powerful if maybe a bit exaggerated (the room, not the speakers) They throw an image two feet behind them.. you'd think they just dissapeared.

The E41s are sweet little speakers and pair well with my Emo Ultra 12. That said I don't want to confuse the OP because they aren't the same as their home theater bookshelves. They're a more special limited production speaker best used (with an amp) as desktop music speakers.

Smaller, but helluva deal for the OP or someone looking for some computer speakers. Not even close to the E41s I am sure.

I would skip the LSPO8.

I have the Outlaw M8's (well regarded and plenty of good reviews too) but waiting for the cable from monoprice. From what I've read they are good for small to medium spaces like my small studio. If you can wait till the weekend I'll let you know how I like them. You will definitely need a sub for the Infinities. I have the Infinities 162's and I can't wait to hook up my M8's. I think someone here was selling a mint 162's. I'll check and see if he still has them. the Outlaw M8
Velodyne VX-11
Klipsch 10" black 200W powered subwoofer
BIC 12 (but it was too big for his room)

I say go for the Outlaw M8 if you're trying to save money like I was. I got mine from the Xmas sale they had for less than $200. It's HSU which mean it's a quality product. Here is my thread when I was looking for a sub: http://forums.audioholics.com/forums/loudspeakers/76961-budget-subs.html
