Got a PS 12 for free that I personally verified was working when/before I picked it up. Power is plugged in switch is on, signal cable(s) plugged in setting for X-over set way up at 120 and gain is at mid point. NO GREEN or RED light in upper left corner.

What is the deal? Any ideas?? Is there an amp reset or power circuit reset or fuse inside that could've gotten tripped during the tear down to haul it home???

If there is no red or green light then the unit is non functional.

There are no user serviceable parts. The switching power supplies in subs are very trouble prone. I suspect this unit had not been in use for a while and the recent sudden power up has caused a cap or two to fail in the power supply.

Your best bet is to replace the amp with another. This will involve carpentry as you must seal it. If you can get a replacement amp that would be best.

You could also buy a power amp and connect it directly to the driver and use the sub as a passive sub.

If all this is more trouble than it is worth, then take it to the recycling center.

One last thing, make sure there is power at the receptacle you have it plugged into and the power cord is functional.

Is it plugged in? I'm betting it really isn't. If something was working before and isn't suddenly working. It's a connection issue most likely.

If the amp is really defective you could always get a harman replacement.

If it's plugged into a working wall outlet and there's no light on the sub, then it's another case of internal-plate-amp-bites-the-dust.

Good thing it was free. :D
