I'm moving and want to take my Paradigm SA 35s with me. Does anyone know of a low cost alternative speaker in the approximate same size ? I'd rather not have to leave huge holes in the walls when I sell my house :)

FYI
The cut out for those speakers are: 19-1/8 in x 8-1/8 in
I checked TSC and monoprice and none would fit without patching.

Did you look at the PartsExpress stuff or those Diesel Audio's that Fry's always tries to sell?

I tried PE, but for some reason the site wasn't coming up.

OP, try doing a google search for your dimensions and in wall speakers. When I did that there were several that were close. That seems like an easier way of finding a fit than clicking around hoping to find a match (like i was doing).

Yeah, seems the only ones that come close are some Infinity's. They have a 7 1/8 width.

Seems I might just have to buy another pair.

I've also got the same problem with the SA10r's. Their cut-out is 6 3/4".

The wife is not happy.....

Just leave them and get something new :D Do you know that the speakers will work in your new home?

You could contact paridigm to see if the will just sell the grill and holder, so you don't have a gaping hole.

I know that RBH just sells the grill and enclosure specificially for this purpose.

Or just leave them if they are really old. Ususally with houses, they won't pass FHA loans if you had the holes in the walls.
