From what I'm reading the gamma 21 is really a strong sub but the rythmik is $500 less I'm open to both if the gamma is not worth the bump.

I'm guessing bang for the buck is what most people are looking for and there are many other subwoofers available that can dig deeper, get louder, and/or are more cost effective.

SVS still makes a great product of course.
