Hey.. soo im almost done compiling my list of goodies to get for my friend's house... last things on the list are the speakers, so we can actually enjoy the other great equipment im getting... anywho.... here is what i need and i need some help with selecting good speakers for a good price...

I have 10 7x10 speaker holes (square not circular) in different rooms of my friends house that have wiring already setup, all they need are speakers to fit into them. 7x10 is the max size these speakers can be, soo what are the best speakers I can get that will fit these dimensions but after buying 10 of them wont make me cry. (like under $1k please)

and then I also need 2 Outdoor speakers, they dont have to be super great, but good enough to project out to the grass lawn my friend has from where they will be placed on the house..

Thanks for any help you guys can give me...

Also.... I need to get a subwoofer, center speaker, and 2 front tower speakers to hookup to a : Denon 3806 . These speakers are for the home theatre, and there are already 2 speaker holes in the ceiling, so total there will be 5 speakers and the sub. Sound like a good setup? (the 2 ceiling speakers are almost above where people will be sitting or a little behind them. ) please let me know what I should do about these speakers too.. im doing a lot of looking around, but love to hear some other people's opinions. thanks!

Just to give you an idea.. i have about 5k left to spend.. and after i get ALL of these speakers I need to get a projector screen. then ill be done, but would be nice to not use up all of the 5k i have left.

Speaker budget

Spending only $500 out of your $5k budget on the HT speaker is a major compromise. They are the most important audio component in your system.

I would figure $1-200 a pair for the inceling speaker ($500-$1k) and spend the rest on the speakers and projector screen.
Also, if traditional speakers are acceptable for the surround channels, why not for the rear surround channels. In ceilings are better for background music and using them in the HT is a perfromance compromise.

I am hesitant to recommend a full 5.1 speaker system for that budget. You should consider spending that amount on the subwoofer itself. It’s also difficult to recommend a sub without knowing the size of the HT space. The following speakers would be a good start for the 5 channels.

3 of these BIC America DV-62CLRS: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00009WBYL/sr=8-3/qid=1152895944/ref=pd_bbs_3/102-9870788-2153769?ie=UTF8
This pair of BIC America Venturi DV62si: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00006JPDI/sr=8-1/qid=1152895944/ref=pd_bbs_1/102-9870788-2153769?ie=UTF8

And if you wanted, you could use the 62sis for L/R as well to help the budget.

You might consider this system as well: http://www.av123.com/products_product.php?section=speakers&product=83.1

ok.. soo now ive thought it over and I am thinking about getting a BIC Acoustech system: BIC Acoustech Cinema Series HT-65 & 75 & 63 and skip out on the subwoofer for now, and possibly get a JBL E250P. I dont know.

Where is the best/cheapest place to get these speakers and do you think its a good idea? I basically want to spend around $800 on this 5.1 surround system which is going to be used 90% of the time for movies and tv.

also.. i was told that the holes in my friend's house were designed to fit niles speakers.
