In ceiling speakers

Hi all

I have purchased a pair of definitive technology UWS RSS II, and also a pair of UWS RSS III for my new home build.

I’ve only just realised that these speakers are designed for a surround sound application, and was wondering if they would still suffice and be high quality speakers for a 2 channel audio application?

Thanks

The UWS RSS III (i.e. 3) speakers are suitable for a 2 Channel application.

The bipolar UWS RSS II (i.e. 2) speakers are not suitable for a 2 Channel application. These are specifically designed for surround duty. The multiple axis sound from each speaker will not properly create a stereo sound.
