DVI to Monitor Convertor

I could not find a straight forward Monitor to DVI convertor. I have an LCD monitor but an old video card that doesn't handle that input, would like the ability to use a convertor without having to by a cable. Your only convertors were just monitor convertors.

I'd like to see a dvi male to hdmi female adapter. For those who already have a good DVI cable and would like to save on the expense of having to buy an all new hdmi to dvi cable.

P.S.

Noticed that a competitor has this very product available.

How about video splitters and cable amplifiers? Also, maybe you can offer flat cables that one can run under carpets or wallpaper. Another suggestion would be interchangeable connectors such that one can switch from spade lugs to banana plugs to pins, etc. Monster cable has this flexibility and also those flex pins they have are cool.

After checking the web site I have to say very nice improvment since i purchased my velocity terminated speaker cables. I can only say that I did not see the availability of sub cables with built in "Y" on the sub side, that would clean up the install a bit to have a one cable solution to that instead of adding y connectors at the end of each sub cable.
I will have to second the industrial look of the terminated speaker cables. I think they are doing a great job in my system but I put some effort in running them out of site partially due to the appearance. They are quite stiff also. Overall good products and a good value.

I was looking on the website for 14 guage speaker wire and didnt see any. That is something that will interest me in the near future. Also...flat wires for subs and speakers for running them under the carpet?

With a new TV on the horizon, I'd really like to see a high-quality HDMI cable...maybe something in the 2-meter range? :D

Just kidding...excellent site and excellent selection and prices. I'd have to suggest a high-quality A/V connection kit for the XBox, because the stuff that Monster Cable offers is overpriced and underbuilt. Something with a range of audio and video connectivity for various setups would be really nice. Again, the stuff that's out there is very limited and the quality leaves something to be desired. I'm sure Impact Acoustics can bring something that fits the bill perfectly!

Thanks,

Jason

I would like to see a power conditioner/distribution system that turns devices on and off based on what device is being used. There is no need to have my TIVO running when watching DvDs etc. It would be nice to not have to manually turn on/off devices as I switch what I'm doing.

I would like to see some wireless receivers. I just purchased a d-link dsm-320 from another website. I would prefer to purchase from an audioholics sponsor, but I couldn't find what I wanted. I have a feeling that there are a number of us who cannot afford a dedicated HTPC, but would like to stream our music and videos from our existing PC.

product selection great but...

I find the selection really great and alot of ppl already mentioned recommendations similar to what I would have added but I would like to make two recommendations that would make the shopping experience better:

1) as a prospective customer, I could not easily find any info regarding shipping details/policy from the main home page, I don't understand why a link to this pertinent information is not a defacto standard for any online e-tailer (website).

2) Offer Paypal purchasing/transaction option.

Thanks,

I would also like to see some interconnects for gaming consoles. The only decent solution I've found for the weird PS2 scart is M*****r cable, and its ludacris what the price is.

I would like to see a male RCA to male 1/4" cable. I can't seem to find a quality one for a reasonable price.

What I would like to see???

Simplified cable connections. Use of USB and Firewire for interconnects... wait that has to be driven by the component makers. In order to maintain a digital path of all inputs I feel that component makers must adopt computer-type interconnects as proven digiatl commodities. Using Firewire and USB to handle information from source to output would simplify connections and allow for fewer wires.

Impact Acoustics seems to be ready for that but it would be nice to see Video Switching using HDMI (DVI-I shoudl die soon, I hope) as well as high quality Power Cords.

Guard, Out.

Enthusiast
I have procured items (speaker wire, interconnects, Sub cables) many times from Impact Acoustics. I have been very happy with the value/quality of the products which I purchased. The two items to which I was forced to go elsewhere were;

Quality Banana Plugs - I did not find "Quality" like the following; http://www.thecablepro.com/cableDetail.php?cID=72&cgID=1
these guys are too expensive, but hey have nice connectors.

Quailty Power Cords - Not super duper silver power cords. Better than stock, large gauge wire with good solid nickel connectors, removable ground pin and with shielding. In different sizes and maybe even customizable.

The site looks like it has pretty much everything already, including invisiwire. I would have to conclude that quality video cables for game consoles would be a great addition, currently there is not a lot to choose from for those. I found the component switching devices, but with HDMI becoming more popular it might be time to think about adding a switching device for that. Also, cost permitting, I think more affordable component and HDMI switches would be good in the <$100 range. Chances are if someone doesn't have enough connections, it is probably because they couldn't afford the more expensive equipment options at the time or can't afford a full upgrade on the stereo or tv currently.

I agree with some others about a single split cable for sub to receiver connection.
