Mike,

Homie. Have a 3 days vacation in Boracay or Palawan white sand beaches. It will be a good time off on the old hobby.

wow lots of replies!

just to re-cap, I don't intend to STOP watching or listening to my setup. I am ranting about the fact that I've run out of "upgrades" that actually make a difference.

BMXTRIX, aside from the FP setup, I have two 40" LCD screens in two other locations ... I don't think I'm gonna have space for another FP. adding to my movie collection would be a good idea though ... though I'm still waiting for a number of movies before I send in my amazon.com order.

xboxweasel, I'm talking about speakers above a certain price point, and I'm after "better" sound and not "different" sound, e.g. my polks sound really different than my other speakers ... but if neutral is the goal, I want more neutral.

majorloser, that's some expensive chicken.

tarub, sounds like you've been to those places ... i'm ashamed to say, I haven't. :( my wife says Boracay is for tourists ... Palawan is the real killer white sand beach.

avaserfi, I've learned to practice on cheaper Koi when starting. the fun isn't really in maintaining the Koi, it's maintaining the water. we watch the nitrate, nitrite, ph, etc. ... there's a koi motto "take care of the water and the koi will take care of themselves"

tomorrow, trying to escape this rehab joint :)

Joe Schmoe, you really don't need those expensive kois. I need those expensive kois like I need for example the JL Audio Gotham or Velo DD1812. Say for example women, normal people look beautiful, but Cosmopolitan magazines show you impossibly beautiful women ... then you "lust" for more. (pun intended)

stratman, the journey has been costly, more than I wanted to spend. considering that I'm still paying for my rotel amp, it's gonna be my mascot to unnecessary purchases. I haven't gotten to the subwoofer plateau yet, maybe after the SVS ultras, I'm stopping.

highfihoney, cars are a bit too expensive for me, e.g. look at how many subwoofers I can buy for a single cheap car, which I won't use because I barely leave the house :) see my hobbies are all "in-house"

I think you next goal should be a simple 0.7 set up. You seem to love your subs so why not make a theater of them :).
