My current setup is
Maverick Audio TubeMagic D1 Preamp/DAC
Denon AVR-1802 (as amplifier)
ELT525C
Strata Minis.
Now I'm currently using the Maverick to switch my audio sources between my Xbox 360, PC, cd player, etc.
When I watch movies from Netflix on the 360 I switch the maverick to optical from the xbox and set my Denon to Dolby ProLogic II. I'm only running 3 channels at the moment.
I'm wondering if the Maverick downmixes the signal to 2ch and the Denon then splits it back into 3.
Would it be wise to connect the Xbox 360 directly to the receiver via optical for ProLogic?
