is the led light: yellow or green?

I took pictures with and without flash.
(I got the replacement fuses for my ep500, but still no sound. so the color of this led whether green or yellow will help me troubleshoot)

If you want to give the most accurate depiction of color to post here....

(1) Use no flash.

(2) Set white balance to sunlight setting.

2nd pic it looks yellow, 3rd pic(dark one) it looks green. I'm going to take up a wager with myself and go with green, we will say......2 to 1 odds.:p

Anymore questions you need sarcastic answers too don't be afraid to ask.;)

Edit: Damn WmAx, had to come in and offer some intelligent advice.

It looks green to me in all the pics.

Yellow LED's tend to be more orangey or amberish than pure yellow, that light was definately not either of those.

ep500 manual says ... green is go, yellow there's a fault.

Does the Velodyne work ok with this same interconnect?

Go buy an Ocean Optics fiber spectrometer and measure the wavelength. That will tell you.

buckeye,

yes, exact same interconnect ... I unplug it from the velodyne and then stick it in this one.

while I believe you that this may tell me what the color is ... I will presume it is another joke. :D

I sympathize - but think it's green. My $0.02 says that they should use red, orange and possibly blinking patterns for faults... sheesh. lol

Yellow in the picture with the flash.

A bit yellow and green mixed together in the picture taken in the dark (without the flas).

Sometimes I can't tell if it's green or yellow, those 2 colors are just too damned close together on the visible EM spectrum. Companies should really stick to just green and red (then again when someone is green/red color blind, that doesn't help either).

not to mention they have an AMBER color too. (this LED has 3 possible colors)
AMBER - GREEN - YELLOW

a lot of people tell me amber = yellow (this really messes up the color of things) good thing I have decided I know what amber is, and it ain't the yellow (or green) that's on the pics.

amber appears when in the "load" position (when a USB is attached for computer integration) and for 1 sec after power up then it changes to the color in the pics.

I agree Clint - even my cheap JBL has RED and YELLOW led (on or off)

if its green, then it should be ok and running already. hmmm. (I wrote axiom already and sent pics too)

this sucks, this ep500 is about half of a DD-15, I could be playing with a DD-15 by now!!! (I ordered the ep500 last january - then waited 2 months shipping)
