Don't get so offended. Every day there are dozens of 'which receiver to buy' threads.

Just about ANY receiver will drive 8 ohm speakers with a 92 dB sensitivity. That recevier on ebay is an older ProLogic receiver but for $10 bucks how can you go wrong.

You need to determine what features you want in a receiver to be able to determine which one you'd want. Power is not going to be much of an issue with sensitive speakers.

thanks for the input guys

not offended mds, just was hoping to get some kind of input from u experts. im not totally ignorant, but i could know a lot more. yeah i was thinking the same thing, for 10 bux... i am watching to see if it goes over 100. if its 100 or less imma get it because i just need a good high quality amp to push dj party speakers, no home theater set up. but at the same time, i guess i should probably do that too at some point in the future. its kind of stupid not to considering i have a projector for my tv in my room. hmm. maybe i should go with that yamaha after all and buy some satellites? if i just wanted some decent sound quality but nothing crazy what would be a good option for that? maybe like 200 bux for all speakers? or is that too low? jeez the more i think about it the more money i want to spend on hooking it up, but im a full time student and trying to "ball on a budget" here. thanks for any input u guys have, youre awesome!!!
