Thanks for the quick response. Here's another question. My current DVD player (actually it's a 7 Disk changer) plays DVD Audio's but not SACDs. I really like being able to load it with music CDs, DVD audios, and DVD Movies. Both Onkyo and Denon make a 6 Disk DVD changer but without the quality DACs and no Denon Link.
What's a guy to do? Sit tight and wait? I do want the supperior quality of the higher end DVD players but also want the convenience of being able to load multiple DVDs/CDs/SACDs/DVD Audios.
If I do "add" the denon 3910 to my system how will I deal with the 6 analog connections? You might say there's no need for the analog connections on the 3910 if I'm using Denon Link. But I have read somewhere that some SACDs or maybe it was DVD audios wouldn't play on the Denon 5900 when connected through the Denon Link connection. I also remember them saying that it would play correctly through the analog connections.
I think it had something to do with which recording company recorded the album. Either way, it appears that in this situation I would be forced to:
1. Play the album in my current JVC DVD player if it didn't play in the Denon 3910.
2. Scrap the JVC DVD changer (I don't want to. Booh! Hooh!) and hook up the 6 analog connectors to the 3910 so I could switch to the analog connections if it didn't play through the Denon Link.
3. I'm guessing here... Use a "Y" connector on each RCA jack on the EXT IN connection on the Denon 3805 receiver and split it from there. One split to the JVC and one split to the Denon 3910.
Option 3 looks like the most versatile option (if it would even work) but what a "Rats Nest" that would be.
What's your opinions?
