Take those things back now. You have a legal right to do so, at least in Ontario. It's called a "cooling off period." Originally written into law due to unscroupulous door to door salemanship. It is only good for 48hrs though. The store can not refuse the return as long as the product is in the same shape as when it left the facility. They can charge a restock fee. If they try to refuse the return you may need to consult with the police. Run, do it now, don't wait, not one more second, do it. Then spend the three grand more wisely. Futureshop is clearing out Athena AS-F2's for $400 cad a pair. Get 4 of those, and a monster sub and Metallica will never have sounded better. HSU is up here in canada and you can get a VTF-3 that will tick off your whole block, not just the neighbours. for around $1000 CAD. Get an Athena Center and then shop around for a nice Yamaha Receiver (Yahama is a way better buy up north guys, seriously) from either Futureshop or 2001 Audio Video. You can get a yamaha 2500 for $1100 at 2001, probably for less than $1000 CAD if you haggel. You may also want to check out the Cerwins at 2001. Don't buy your sub from either place though, thier selections suck. If you really need help I'll go out and meet you half way. I'm not kidding, I live in Oshawa so I'm only an hour outside T.O. Just don't get ripped off again. Go to Bay bloor radio with your budget. If you are willing to come down to my neck of the woods then at Whitby audio video I know you can get a decent Paradigm or Monitor Audio setup that will blow you away. Seriously, with 3 grand you have alot of options.
