If my enclosure is tuned at 20hz does it work as a subsonic filter?

My sub that he modeled was in a 3.4ft3 box and had a 3" round port. Mine is in a 7.3ft3 box with a 16" wide x 3" high x 39" long. Mine has twice the output of that little box he modeled!

Since you are very happy with your sub, enjoy it. The posters in both of your sub threads have opinions as to how that driver should be loaded. If your happy with what you have its all good. Id seriously have the HPF in place to protect the driver, its a very nice driver. When your ready to upgrade alls you have to do is put it in a well braced sealed box, use dsp to apply a linkowitz transform set of filters, and run a higher crossover. That would put you at single digits in room with a nice response curve out to 200hz

Just an FYI my box is 1" MDF and window braced twice each one third of the way thru the box.
