Yes I am new and requesting help my 1st post. I did a search...brief but found nothing.
I have acquired
2 IBEAM VT300 Transducersfor a really good deal

.
They are installed on either end of my chair-fold-out leather couch. I drilled right thru my hardwood floor (wife loved that) and ran 14 gauge wires from each unit to my Receiver Area.
Unlike the Buttkicker package.. these lone-wolf units leave it up to us to find the appropriate amp to power it. This is where I need assistance. The specs for what is
suggested are here on their site
That doesn't help me alot. Although I know some Intermediate HT stuff... I ma concerned with getting the right amp powering these babies so I feel the bass/lows as I am supposed to. Right now I have an old (receiver 25yrs) powering it thru AUX and so no crossover, not enough power etc.. so I get a rumbling feel on even vocals and during other sounds when the sub is not active.
I do have access to an HK 3380 which has the power... but I don't believe a built in crossover...and with having a HK already my Universal Remote would be tricky with the same non-discrete power & volume etc...
Oh ya... I am trying to keep this some what inexpensive if possible?
My Main Receiver: HK AVR 320
thanks in advance
Jeff
