I need your help

Hey guys and gals ...

I've been utilizing this site as a tremendous resource through out my retail career but now I am leaving the store. So I need some advice I have the opportunity to get a home theater system (not phenomonal, but not bad.)

Do I go with Athena? Klipsch Reference? or JBL Northridge? Please don't make any other recommendations because I probably don't have them available to purchase anyway.

P.S. I am going with floor standing speakers and bookshelfs to create a 7.1 and a yamaha 5760 or 5790

Can you rig a listening test in the off-hours? That would be a great way for you to compare the systems.

Best Buy, by any chance? I would go with the JBL Northridge or perhaps the Athena, but your best bet is to try to listen to them all and decide for yourself which you like best.
