I need replacement Onkyo speaker cal microphone

Does anyone have any ideas other than going through Onkyo to get a speaker cal mic? I finally finished my HT and need only to calibrate my speakers but can not find the thing (if there ever was one). Thx

Do you have any other microphones, even one that you've used on your PC? If so, I say give that a shot. I don't think that there's anything special about the microphones that come with receivers. I do think that you would want to point the microphone towards the ceiling so that it would be receiving sound from the front and rear speakers in a similar fashion. If you do that and are happy with the results...then you're done!
