I was noticing how slow my LG blu ray burners were at ripping discs, so I looked more into it, and found this program that will allow you to modify the firmware to enable faster read speeds, and in some cases faster write speeds for certian media. I just ripped a disc on my drive that used to rip no faster than 2.1x and now it was ripping at over 5x and on another drive that ripped no faster than 4.8x now rips at over 7x.
