Picture adjustment would be a big one for me, as is access to the service menu where avialble to change offset values. As for the contrast ratios and response times, they are skewed and worthless when published by most manufactures

At the your price point and size limitation I wouldnt worry to much about "which ones best", and as a bedroom room tv. IMO the sony and sammy are neck and neck, with the sony ahead in the final. However its up to you. The 3/2 pulldown would be enough for me.
