Sounds like you've never experienced Hi-Def paint. It will change your life when you do. :D

Just like nitrogen enriched air for your tires.;)

Heck, even HD Radio got in on the act. The HD originally stood for Hybrid Digital, not High Definition, but that hasn't stopped the copy writers and their advertising machine from advertising it as High Definition Radio. Now iBiquity claims the "HD" is just a brand name and doesn't stand for anything. ;)

It must be another one of those mythical experiences that I always seem to miss like buying straight lumber from the local home improvement store.

I got the same E-mail. I wondered how many pixels per inch were in the paint, but there was no description. I saw a window cleaning company that offered "Hi-def" once, but at least that kind of makes sense as a joke. Paint though>?

Ugh I can't stand those HD ultra vision sunglasses. I went in to CVS to buy a pack of batteries, and the lady in front of me was trying multiple pairs on, even though theres only 1 style... Even the cashier gave her a look like what the hell are you doing?! lol

You mean, the stuff that makes up about 74% of air?
Yeah that stuff lol. It's hilarious. Nitrous oxide is what they are playing on, but I don't think it would be good for the tires.

HD air for tires is different. It doesn't expand under heat so your pressure remains constant at speed and with seasonal changes. Because of the size of a nitrogen molecule it does not leak out and need to be refilled every month or two ... according to the pitch I heard.

What does Warp say? I understand you have a service station?

Nice jack on a paint thread, huh?

Haha, the one guy in the video said "It makes things seem almost brighter! :)38)" Those have to be the worst sunglasses ever!! lol
The lenses look polarized and tinted...sheesh...
And, four letters to describe their "modern" look U-G-L-Y! I think I saw my Grandma sporting a pair of those a few years back.

You know, when I saw that Lowe's email yesterday I figured somebody would start a thread here about it :)

Next on my shopping list is a surround-sound fire alarm system.

Actually, race cars often use pure Nitrogen in the tires. For that application, I would want consistent pressure too, but for Nascar, even that's dubious since it always ends up as a big demo derby.

A friend of mine in PHX has a radio call-in show for car repair and maintenance. One day, his brother called to tell me that the show was on and that I should call with a question. I did and after I told him my name, I said that I had heard of people using Nitrogen and other gases to inflate tires. I went on to tell him that I had some leftover tanks of MAPP gas & Propane and that I was wondering of it would be OK is use either to inflate my tires.

Knowing that he fully expects some nimrod to try anything that sounds like it might work, he went on with a serious explanation that it wouldn't be a good idea and at the end, he said "I think I know that guy". His brother called back, laughing his butt off.
