The hospital stay alone was >$1/4 mil. (And that was a long time ago...prices now are nuts. It was quite a climb outta that hole!)
Not really comparing, and not that the situation was funny at all.
But I got you beat by far. My total bills, including the helicopter ride, 6 months in the hospital, 2 months in ICU (1 month in EICU, 1 month in RICU), 6 personal doctors & specialists, 1 24hr a day watcher, 3 full time nurse staff on me alone, etc...
Came to just shy of 3 million.

Are you accounting for inflation? ;) Yeah, you had me whipped pretty well, Brian. My 5 days in ICU and 5 in cardiac care were WAAAAAY more than enough. How is your healing going?

I talked to Brain on the phone last night, hope I didn't catch nothing. ;)

You two are probably posted on every insurance company's top 10 list of people not to insure. :D

I was kinda trying to point that inflation was there, but never actually typed it in.
Oh, I'm about as healed as I possible can be, this was 2 1/2 years ago.

Matt, if you caught anything, Uhmm I hope you don't fall off a 5 story building..

Actually, I am posted at certain hospitals. Serious. I had to go back into the hospital about 2 weeks after I got out. The hospital turned me away, so I had to go to the next city over. (Then stayed there for a month, small bill of about $200K) Long Story, but I had used up a lot of hospital resources..
I had a infection set-in on one of the many metal plates in one of my arms, among other things.... (Long story)

thanks Mule

Mule,

Thanks for the compliments and the advice and everything. Yes, living at home is a good thing, theres no way I want to leave this place. My room is the biggest bedroom in the house, and has my home theater and computer in it. Now all I need is a mini-fridge and im set :p . Its good to see that some of the older(don't take that to heart  ) guys can comunicate with the younger ones without introducing a stereotype, and acting they are all knowing and vica versa. This site is a great source of information, but someone has to teach/tell you what it is in order for you to understand. Here's to all the knowledgable people in the forums who are unbais, and willing to help out anyone, no matter what the condition.

thanks alot, Mule, and everyone.
