I finally hooked up my AVR-4310CI

It's one of those bitter sweet moments. I just pulled my old AVR-4800 receiver from active duty. The 4310 is working fine. I did notice that it is quite a bit smaller and lighter than the old 4800.

We all know about the fast-paced technology.

But I think we are safe from another upgrade for a long time.

I can't comprehend us upgrading the sound; Lossless audio is already perfect.

Adding more & more speakers in a typical room is just silly.

I hate 3D video, so that was never something I would care to upgrade.

I guess the only thing left to upgrade is the video resolution - from 1080p to 2K, 4K, 8K.
