That's why I Do it myself. Then it takes a lot longer to upgrade and do things. And the feeling of a new toy is stretched out much longer.

I do a little DIY stuff myself. I have built several sub boxes for car audio. They are very nice just plain jane Cubes usually but they work great. Have one in my truck now. I actually have 3 DIY boxes for that particular sub. I need to replace some tweets on some old Kennwoods I have downstairs, kinda thought about replacing all the speaks just for the hell of it with good but inexpensive drivers.

It's threads like this and gixxerific's that make me want new speakers.
I need one of the mods to close and delete it.
It's for the best.

Actually I was/am pretty happy with what I am listening to but a brief listen to something better really made me kind of weak in the knees. There is a real art to enjoying what you have/can afford without wasting your time wanting what you can't have (yet). I think I'll avoid audio stores like the plague and it's good to see that both you guys are diggin' what you got.

Try buying some new tunes that you know are very well produced.
Pink Floyd, Supertramp, Steely Dan. That heavy production always makes what you got sound GOOD. Well, to me at least.

Don, you skipped a few posts. Everything is alright. I soldered the broken connection. I even received a new crossover that's waiting to be installed. I did not install it yet because everything is working right.
I've seen your pics many times, I'm going to do something like that. It's sexy as hell.

Gixxerific, I won't do a (proper) review. First of all, I've got absolutely no point of comparison with my system. These are my first "home cinema" speakers, a big upgrade from little computer cube speakers. Lastly, but not least, I lack the vocabulary and the experience to express my thoughts on these matters.
For now I can just say that for the money they're awesome.

Griffinconst, you're right. There's really something about these productions, a sparkle that does not exist on most albums. Queen and Dire Straits are also very good.

lsiberian, I love to DIY, but lack of time and excellent craftsman skill do not allow me to do something that looks and sounds as good as the MAs.
