Humming Problem with RX-V2400

I am running an RX-V2400 Yamaha receiver with an ATI 2505 Amp. I can't seem to get rid of a humming noise in the speakers. If I connect the Speakers to the Amp but disconnect the RCA's from the Receiver than the hum is not there. As soon as I connect the RCA's I get the hum out of all channels connected. I am using Blue Truth AIC RCA wires. Any suggestions?

A hum is usually a sign of a ground loop. Are the amp and receiver plugged into the same power source? Try one of them plugged into a different outlet?
Try some different wires. Those being used may not have enough shielding, or the shielding may have broken down somehow.
From your explanation, I'm thinking it's one of these two things.
Good luck!

Found It!

It would seem that the Yamaha has a ground for the turntable. I connected it to the ground on the ground plug and it almost completely stopped the problem. Seems that I had also connected my computer to my receiver and had created the ground loop you described. Once I unplugged it, the hum was gone. :)
