Congratulations on the new job. I'm sure that some of the things you see and hear on the job will be tough to handle. Just try to keep some perspective and try to be one of the good guys.
It would be refreshing to meet Canadian policemen ,where im from most police have lost focus,when i was a child & the police showed up on a scene their attitude was "how can i help",now days when one of our police show up on a scene their attitude is "who can i arrest & how many frivolous charges can i charge them with",its what they've been trained to do.Then you should come and meet Montreal policemen. Known for being courteous and polite all over the world. They have meetings all the time with LA, chicago, new york, london, paris police departments.
(I couldn't give you surveys but it came from the big bosse's lips (we met him yesterday... what an awesome man)! What if you had a job, but then the same job with a boss that is close to ppl, funny and always there for you, even if he's up high in the ladder.
