Are the Hsu Ventriloquist speakers as good as they say on their web page? Would they work well in a 2100 cu. ft. room?

I've never heard them but they do offer a money back guarantee. They may be worth a try. The only thing that you'll lose is shipping if you don't like them. Get a subwoofer from them and you get $100 off also. (I love my STF-2)

My friend purchased a set and it's pretty good for the money, although I could hear problems. But those problems are based on comparisons to my Monitor Audio Silver setup, which is in another price bracket. They are better than a Cambridge Soundworks cube set, and I would venture a guess that they are better than other HTiB setups. The subwoofer definitely is.

There is also the SVSound speaker set, which was recently reviewed here. Secrets has a review of the Hsu VT-12 setup. Another option to consider are the Ascend Acoustic speaker sets.

I was using them.Yes they do sound very good but they are more suited for smaller rooms.Only thing I found a little lacking was the very upper treble range, above about 14khz.Otherwise excellent performance from a single 2.5" driver.
