How would A JBL venue series center match up with jbl stdio serioes speakers?

I currently have jbl S310 floorstanding speakers and im wondering how a JBL Venue Series Voice Center Channel 5-Inch 2-Way Dual Speaker would match with them. I am thinking of buying one and im not gonna get a chance to audition it so i was wondering what you guys think? Would it be a good match or would the studio series speakers be too powerfull for the center? They both have a max power rating of around 300 watts. What do u guys think?

Not sure how the Venue series would match up, but I run JBL S312 with the S- Center and it matches up perfectly. It is my understanding that since they all are 'S' series, they have the same components so the they match up sonically. Not sure what you mean "to powerful" referring to the 'S' series, but it can all be leveled for an even sound field. You should be able to find a 'S-Center' on Ebay or Craigs. I'm sure someone else will chime in with more useful info.

I have the entire JBL Venue line and I will recommend you look at something else.
