I second everyone else in stressing there is no benefit whatsoever to upgrading power supplies, cables, and *especially* networking equipment. You may as well hope to improve your sound quality by keeping your refrigerator temperature extra cold or your lawn well-trimmed.
It may be time for you to accept that Audioholics' forums are simply never going to vindicate your suspicion that you need to spend obscenely large amounts of money for supposed minor improvements. If you keep having this urge, it may be best for you to visit the forums at audiophilestyle.com or whathifi.com, where I believe you will find many people to recommend that you will hear a vast sonic improvement with an "audiophile" network switch, provided you don't buy one of the cheap crappy $50,000 ones, but actually spend more money on something good.
