Hello everyone. I just got myself a pair of Sonos One Speakers. They sound amazing. But I have run into a problem. I have some lossless audio files on my PC in .WAV, .AIFF formats (all downloaded from HDTracks website) . Whenever I try to play these on my Sonos I get an error coded 701. I Would like to know whether the Sonos One can play such files at all and if yes what do I have to do?

Seriously, I have no life.
Why would you want to play a loss less file on a Sonos speaker. You won't tell the difference, so just convert it to AC3 or Mp3.

If you think a Sonos 1 sounds amazing, then you have a lot of fine audio products to investigate for truly amazing sound. On the other hand you might not tell the difference.

By amazing I mean't amazing for their size and appearance. I just wanted to save myself the trouble of converting and duplication. Hence, just wanted to know if there was a direct way around.

I don't really understand the Sanos speaker completely but generally speaking once the audio signal is converted to analog...the speaker doesn't care how large the file size is.

I just took a look at these (I assume these https://www.sonos.com/en-us/shop/one.html ). What are you using it in conjunction with? I didn't see a manual, assume the file types are supported? I did take a quick look at their community thing and does seem many are getting various access denied issues, you might want to read thru them...

And as was said, if you think these are amazing speakers you have much to discover :)

Seems I'll have to go through the trouble of conversion then. Thanks all anyway.
