How to overide Yamaha YPOA??

I have a Yamaha RX-V2500 in my HT. I have recently done some upgrades and purchased a Rat Shack SPL. I adjusted everything in the manual setup, but it reverts back to the auto setup levels. This is not good since it sets all of my speakers to large and my crossover to 120. Does anyone know how to disable the auto setup and save the manual?

Are you using the settings memory feature? (You don't need to.) All you need to do is go into the setup mode, select manual mode, then change your settings to suit your needs. Simply exit the setup mode when you're done, and there you are...all set. You can make changes on-the-fly anytime this way.

Yamaha EQ

While you are making adjustments, turn the EQ on your Yamaha to OFF. It will likely sound better than the Yamaha PEQ.
