How much weight can centers take?

I have my Panasonic 42" plasma currently sitting on top of my Paradigm CC-570. Is this recommended? The plasma is about less than 80lbs (with stand). Will this setup damage my center? I've only got it setup for a day, and it sounds OK so far, but I don't want long term damage.

I went out and bought a second shelf to hold the centers. I don't want to save $100 and cause a damage to my $800 speaker

I wouldn't worry about the speaker, but since the speaker moves and causes movement, I would REALLY worry about the plasma jumping off the speaker and crashing to the ground.
