How important is it to match impedences with speakers and recievers? I want to buy JBL E-30 BS Speakers that are 8ohms and have a Yamaha 5830 receiver that is 6ohms. Will I experience any problems with this?

in this case, the receiver will have no problem whatsoever running those speakers.

the only time you may have an issue with impedance matching is when your speakers are a lower impedance than what your receiver is rated for.
Example: a reciever rated at 8 or 6 ohms and speakers rated at 4 ohms.

The Yamaha, like most receivers, is rated at 8 ohms with a 6 ohm minimum.
