Update! First, thanks for all the feedback on this thread, and others. I've had the M3's for a couple of weeks now, and they are great little speakers. Keep in mind that my room is far from perfect. The "listening area" (livingroom) is about 12x15, but is almost completely open to the dining room along the right side. Livingroom is carpet, dining is linoleum. Main listening position is center of the couch, with a love seat dividing the 2 rooms on the right. There are loaded 6' high bookshelves covering the back wall and the Infinity Primus 150's sit on those. The front wall has an entertainment center with the TV and the components in it, and is flanked by 2 drawer bases (DVD's) 35" high. The M3's sit on those about 20" out from the wall. I put in my Rives Audio CD and set up my meter and found I have a 8db peak at about 100hz (EQ?) and a huge hole (14db) at 160 hz

The hole is fairly localized, so if I lean forward 18", it's almost gone! The highs drop off above 16khz, which may be part speaker, and part room. I still have to play with positioning a little, but I can't honestly say I can hear any of this. Maybe the 100hz peak.
I find the M3's to be more revealing than the 150's (I had 'em A/B'ed for a few days) and they go deeper. They definitely have more of a "big speaker" sound than the 150's, but the advantage shrinks when using the sub. Soundstage is a little better, but the 150's really put up a fight when it comes to imaging. Bear with me if my teminology is off...I'm pretty new to this, but the M3's seem to give a bit deeper stage, but I think the 150's may beat them when it comes to localizing different insruments. The 150's are working great for surrounds. The effects can almost make you dizzy at times. All in all, I'm happy with what I have, and I've learned a ton in the process. Am I done? probably not...just don't tell my wife.
