How do I find what res my woofer is?

I just got a new car and I'm working on my stereo system (because the one in it is shot) and I need to know what res my woofer is before I purchase my amp. How do I find out???

Specifications: 10" PYLE BLUE WAVE 104X 800watt
SPL: 84.8 db
40 ohm Impedanced
80oz. Magnet

Side Note: I was thinking of getting a 400 watt amp, no need to make it any more powerful.

"res"? do you mean impedance or resonance?

If you need to know the free air resonance, the most efficientmanner is to either check the specs or call the manufacturer.

If you want to know the impedance, I'll take a gamble and assume that when you posted "40 hm", you meant 4 Ohms. Is that what you are after?

Your right markw, I just looked up some info on it, and it is Impedance, my friend never used the sub and gave it to me free so I don't have any info on it and I have no clue what I'm doing lol. Thank you
