Jeff Snider suggests the reason gas isn't higher because the demand isn't there. Maybe people are reducing there travels. He also says maybe the reason China hasn't bought Iran's oil is because the country's economy is in a depression currently. Or China is waiting to see how the war pans out.... or Trump gave them too good a deal to prevent them from buying.

I normally like Trita Parsi but think he's way off on the MOU. If it's not an agreement than why did Trump sign it? It works if you didn't sign it. All opposing arguments fail due to that. So now all that Trump can do is use force. "....of understanding" we control the strait.

Trump has been sabotaging the MOU especially over the Strait of Hormuz. What was signed is that Iran controls the strait. This means the entire strait, not just Iran's side. Trump keeps pushing ships through the Oman side which is a clear violation of the MOU. The US has no authority over the strait. Its just another typical example of the US to not live up to its word. Its absolutely disgusting the way US behaves and condemns assassinations but has actively taken part in many of them. Disgusting.

Where in the MOU does it state that Iran has control over the 'whole' straight ? I didn't know they had control over the Oman side ? since when ?

The MOU said the strait of hormuz . That is implied as the strait has both channels. Poor wording of the MOU I agree.

Well it sort of states they will consult with oman, but then again are you surprised Irans aim is to control all of it? It also depends on Israel and Lebanon so there goes the deal. There's about 14 points in the MOU Trump signed, so now it's a game of well I didn't agree to the things I signed off on LOL. Again, they want us to feel the consequences.

Trump had no intention of honoring it. Trump signed it to buy time and steal from Peter to pay Paul when it comes to missiles. taking supplies from other theaters and to make more money on the stock market. Trump gives a SFA for economies of the US and her Allies.

The US will not win this war because they have no strategy. They put a former Fox News employee as chief of defense. Yep Hegseth. Seriously qualified for the job? Umm no. And Trump and his MAGA rodeo clowns got rid of all the competent leadership in both the military and intelligence agencies.
