Hey Folks,

I just wanted some advice on the system I have put together and was wondering what would be a good back speaker for this system.

Marantz-SR-7002 (Amp)
Toshiba HD-DVD(Bad decision, should have gone w/ Marantz blue-ray)
(2) B&W XT-4 (Main)
(1) B&W XTC (Center)
(2) B&W CMW-800 (Side Surround)
(1) Definitive Technologies Super Cube 1 (Sub)

Please advise on how this system rates and a recommendation for B&W back speakers. Thank you so much. Also, what can I do to enhance this system?

Your setup is nice. Let me save you from an even worse decision--skip the Marantz Blu-Ray and get a PS3, Panny DMP-BD55 (if you don't care about upconversion) or the new Oppo Blu-Ray player.

I can't comment too much on your setup other than to say, "Nice!"

I agree. If you want a dedicated BD player, Oppo is a great option! Personally, I'm just using my PS3 for now. :)

I would use the same speakers as the Side Surrounds for your Back Surround speakers.

Nice system.

Just curious how come you did not also go with matching B&W subwoofer? Not that there is anything wrong with that current sub, of course.:D

Everything was in stock ready to go except the B&W sub. I could not have gotten home and fired the system up without a subwoofer so I bought the super cube that was in stock but was told that I was not sacrificing anything by buying the DT sub, in fact it was an upgrade.
