What are your thoughts... Will this work?
Theater Room.jpg

My positioning of the surrounds was influenced by my Acoustech HT-63 Owner's Manual (Figure 2) but I would still like to hear your input...
Acoustec Speakers1.jpg

The HT-63s are two-way, three driver surround speakers. The drivers are one 6 1/2" woofer, one 5"x7" passive radiator, and one 6 1/2" mid/high freq. horn. The horns are positioned towards the listening position.

Help Please,
Rob

I'd try moving your L & R surrounds back, and your seating up a bit. You don't want to sit too close to low res video, but as we get more HD content, it will be easier to sit a bit closer to the display.

You generally want the sides perendicular to the seating position, or even a little back if that "surrounds" the listeners more. It rarely works well to have the sides forward of the seating position. Also, I would not fixate on that sub position...it looks like it should work fine, but the best thing to do with subs is to place by trial and error for the best resonance and output.
